We think the Halloween tours at Lancaster Castle would be a great day out and even better when you arrive in Lancaster by Narrowboat! Meet the Witchfinder General as he seeks out the sinners to stand trial in our eighteenth century 'hanging court'. Have the opportunity to be locked into the darkest of prison cells and hear tales of ghosts, witches, villains and gruesome executions. A night that's not to be missed! Children's tours: 5.00pm, 5.30pm, 6.00pm, 6.30pm £6.50 per ticket (all children must be accompanied by an adult). Adult-only Tours: (ages 16 +): 7.00pm, 7.30pm and 8.00pm £8 per ticket. Entry will be via the main gate. Tours start from outside the café and will not be going into any of the 'modern' prison wings. Call 01524 64998 for tickets. Tickets on sale from 1 September.
